Updating hardware database
Note: You can automate some procedures in this topic by using wizards in the September 2010 release of power tools for Team Foundation Server.
These wizards help simplify the process for backing up and restoring your deployment.

A legacy platform is a hardware platform unsupported for new installations but still supported for database migration.
Once the CPU load of a node has reached a certain threshold, RP will try to migrate “noisy” shards to a different node in the cluster and will send an alert to the operator.
